MORE FEMA FIASCO
From an LA Times article -- there are 10,770 empty, brand new, ready to use FEMA trailers sitting at an old airfield in Arkansas. They're supposed to go to the Gulf Coast region but FEMA can't figure out how to work with the federal regulations which forbid positioning FEMA trailers in flood plains -- which rules out much of the area hit by Katrina -- the area where the are needed.
