WRAPPING UP IN CHICAGO
It's going to be a full day. I got up early to check out of the motel -- then joined the inbound commuters so I could get to North Park to meet Scot McKnight at his office before his first class. He had some books for the PIBC library in Guam (Thanks, Scot!). Found a post office -- and waited in a line with 15 other people for the one lethargic clerk. (I have never seen a more disorganized and inefficient post office with papers heaped into piled on the counter.) This afternoon our board has a meeting with G. Timothy Johnson, who is consulting on a project that we're doing, and then it's off to Midway to catch the plane home. I should get back into Turlock sometime around 11 p.m.
