SPAMMER GETS A TASTE OF HIS OWN MEDICINE --

Fed up with a mailbox full of emails advertising porno and weight loss pills Francis Uy is fighting back by posting the addresses and phone numbers of known spammers on the Internet. One man, however, has taken Uy to court. George Allen Moore Jr. says that Uy's site is harassment and he wants it pulled off the Internet (Moore insists that he's not really a spammer because he contracts with other companies to market his products.) "In court filings, Moore claims he received about 70 packages and 200 magazines at his house because of Uy's site, as well as numerous phone calls with threatening messages such as 'we are watching you' and 'don't start your car.'"

It appears that Uy's tripod website has been deactivated.

We can live without the threatening behavior but it does seem just that we know the identities of the anonymous people who send us so much trash.
