PRISONER ABUSE
(Thursday) The president offered a public apology to the Iraqi people today. This evening my radio scanned past and settled on a talk radio show briefly. The caller was complaining about the apology. "If per chance the accusations ARE true -- we still shouldn't apologize. It makes us look weak." The host agreed.

Why is it that we equate righteousness and humility with weakness?

The high and lofty one who inhabits eternity, the Holy One, says this: "I live in that high and holy place with those whose spirits are contrite and humble. I refresh the humble and give new courage to those with repentant hearts." Isaiah 57:15 (NLT)
