FAMILY NEWS
Cheryl's niece Emily Hallsten married Matt Brooks this morning in Davis. And we were there! We could not be happier with Emily's choice -- a guy as solid and adventuresome as she is -- maturing in faith and wisdom -- who relates well to both the smallest child and the oldest adult (all of this describes them both). Many years to you!

Betsy, however, couldn't make the wedding because she is on a mission team which flew to Alaska today to work at Alaska Christian College. I just got off the phone with her and they're in Anchorage waiting for the van that will take them to Soldotna. There are 26 people from our church there this week. They will be clearing land and making lumber for the four-year-old Bible school which is reaching out to native Alaskan youth.

Kirk didn't make the wedding either. We talked with him last night and he was going to El Tigre north of Buenos Aires today. El Tigre is an island on the delta where the rich people used to hang out. From what I can tell it is a tourist beach hang-out.

Blue moon tonight!
