RAVI ZACHARIAS TO SPEAK AT LDS TABERNACLE
Ravi Zacharias has accepted an invitation to speak at the LDS Tabernacle in Salt Lake City. Zacharias is an evangelical apologist. This is a part of the ongoing bridge building and very open dialog which has been going on for the past few years. Two years ago I was able to participate in the LDS-Evangelical dialog at Fuller Seminary. It really was a highpoint. I don't agree with my LDS neighbors any more than before but I sure do understand where they are coming from better. On a whole they are wonderful people in the midst of some dramatic theological change. And this is apparently part of their new openness.
