TELEVISION REDEEMED
I watched the first two hours of the PBS series
The Question of God. C.S. Lewis and Sigmund Freud each make their cases for their respective world views. The documentary segments are interspersed with discussion by a panel of intellectuals. If anything the panel portion is the weakest part of the presentation. I suspect it's the way that it is edited that makes some of the comments seem incoherent and the speakers flaky. But really, that is just a minor issue in an over all great show. The second two-hour segment airs next Wednesday. Reruns of the first segment will be running several times over the next few days.
