APPRECIATED
The Turlock pastors gathered for our monthly breakfast meeting this morning. We usually meet at one of the churches, which provides an informal continental breakfast. This morning, however, we met at the New Life Christian Center and they had a crew cooking breakfast burritos, bacon, sausage, and lots of fresh fruit. It was an incredible spread they put on to express appreciation to the pastors. On top of that, the church gave us each a coffee mug (without any kind of advertising or trite saying on the side!) filled with a $10 Starbucks card and a coupon for a free car wash. It was a total surprise and really really well done. Talk about encouraging!
