I used my new mango peeler. Very slick. Kevin, it was way better than a knife -- and less expensive than one, too.

We hit 80 degrees in Turlock today. I got the first three tomato plants in the ground.

The leadership of the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod is blogging (really!). The WELS people are not exactly known for their innovative spirit or openness (or warmness toward us folk with Pietistic tendencies) but now they are blogging. Alright!

Cheryl had a root canal done today (we're keeping all the dentists in town busy) but that didn't stop her from making a key lime pie. :-)

I'm still trying to figure out why the spell check dictionary that blogger offers doesn't recognize the work "blog" or "blogger" -- and it can't be trained.
