SATURDAY COLLECTION
+ One story dominates the news today.

+ Uwe Siemon-Netto has a series of articles on potential popes (you can't tell the players without a scorecard) -- Miloslav Vlk / Godfried Daneels / Philippe Barbarin / Lopez Trujillo / Christoph Schoenborn / Jean-Marie Lustiger

+ Newly discovered papers appear to confirm that the KGB was behind the assassination attempt against Pope John Paul II in 1981.

+ Pope John Paul II as understood from an orthodox Anglican -- Richard Kew has a blog entry.

+ Will the East and the West ever kiss and make-up?

+ The rapture occurred on Thursday -- all but two were left behind. My excuse is that I was in Arizona at the time.

+ Most Americans spring forward tonight -- switching to Daylight Savings Time. Since I've spent the last five days in the Mountain Time Zone my body (currently residing in Pacific Time) should have no trouble with the adjustment. Personally, I think life would be simpler if we were on Daylight Savings Time year round. :)
