WEDNESDAY'S COLLECTION
+ Dan has turned in his last seminary assignment. He probably doesn't realize it yet but last week I actually turned him into a seminary graduate on the church's website.

+ The latest suburban controversy -- garage sizes.

+ KFC is rediscovering its Southern roots. Perhaps they've noticed how it has paid off for Cracker Barrel. However, the southern hipness only goes so far. I'm not seeing anything about the Colonel adding okra or grits to the menu. And I don't suppose its too likely that they'll replace Pepsi with RC Cola. (KFC's parent company, Yum, is a PepsiCo spin-off.) But maybe they could serve up some MoonPies.

+ Google Maps now does England.

+ In a nutshell, Keith Drury to all of his whining students who are unhappy with the way the church is or the way Christians are: "Put-up or shut-up." Of course, those aren't his exact words...

+ Potential juror fined for yawning in court. It must have been a pretty obnoxious yawn.

+ The news section of Andrew Sullivan's blog, The Daily Dish, should be renamed The Daily Dis, to bring his nameplate into line with his nearly exclusive acidic focus on the new pope and the state of the Catholic Church. Yawn.

+ Ruth Gledhill is a little more musing.
