SUNDAY
+ Today is Mother's Day in the US. Cheryl wanted her special dinner to be from her favorite taco truck, the one which parks down on Canal Street. So we had burritos and then this evening we picked up a French silk pie from Bakers Square in Modesto.

+ The cherries in the backyard are ripening rapidly. I've had a few but they need a couple of more days. I go to Chicago on Tuesday for meetings and I'm thinking that they will be ready by the time I'm back on Thursday -- assuming the birds don't finish off the whole crop.

+ Richard Kew's insights into the 60's and deconstructionism -- from an Englishman's perspective. Definitely worth a read.

+ Keith Hamilton and Alaska Christian College are featured in tomorrow's Washington Post because the federal government is being sued over the financial support given to the school.
