+ Speaking of potential disaster, it's again snowing in the Yosemite high country and environs today. Snowpack is already about 180% of normal this year. If in the next few weeks we end up getting a quick warm-up in northern California (as often happens in the spring) we're going to get a lot of flooding down here in the valley. Already, Yosemite Valley has had some flooding -- just with the short warm spell we had over the weekend.
