Tuesday is usually our day off -- not this week. We're going to take Thursday off because of Cheryl's work schedule. We're hoping to squeeze in a tour of UC Berkeley for Betsy.

Considering how wet and mild the spring was (growing lots of vegetation) it is amazing that we've had such a tame fire season. However, our section of the Valley is socked in with smoke tonight. I suspect that the fire is in the mountains to the west.
