FALL
Some people love fall. Not me. I don't dislike it but I feel like I'm on a fast slide dropping into what I know will be a bowl of thick lingering tule fog. Besides that, crepe myrtles are hecka ugly at this time of the year.

COMMUNION WINE FOR PRISONERS
The Wisconsin State Assembly voted on Thursday to make their state the first in the country to allow prison inmates access to Communion wine. Some corrections officials are worried that the exemption (which would allow prisoners to drink up to 2 ounces of wine during a communion service) could derail their efforts at curbing alcohol abuse. Whether that is true or not I don't know. I'd be more worried that prisoners might max out the chapel services. :-)

PG&E'S FINANCIAL SALVATION?
A San Diego company is developing the technology to provide broadband Internet service through natural gas pipelines.

FREE WIRELESS FOR MOUNTAIN VIEW, CALIFORNIA
Google is offering to provide free wireless Internet for the entire community where it is based. The gas company probably won't make any Internet money there.
