A herd of goats chewing clean the steep terrain along the highway (I think they do litter, too). Makes good creative sense -- although it looks like they could use a few thousand more animals.

SOUND BLASTS FIRED AT PIRATES
The cruise ship attacked by pirates off the coast of Somali last week used a sonic weapon that blasts noise in a directed beam, to thwart the attackers. The LRAD is a "non-lethal weapon" that shoots earsplitting shrill tones ("bangs") that can be as loud as 150 decibels. Link


BARNA'S LATEST
Pollster George Barna: 16% of Americans say that their faith is the highest priority in their lives. As an ethnic group blacks are the most likely to be committed to Christianity. On average, they are 39% more likely to register commitment than whites, and 53% more likely than Hispanics. Asians are the lowest on the commitment continuum in Barna's system. Link
