Baffling
Most of us have been trying to reduce our exposure to advertising with spam filters, TiVO, do not call lists, strategies for opting out of junk mail, etc. Against the tide, the Target people are now offering customers the option of signing up to receive their weekly ad circular (the one we usually dump, unread, when it comes in the newspaper) online via an RSS feed. I suppose if the four people who actually want to receive their circular were to sign up for it online, then they might stop stuffing it into the Sunday newspaper.
