CHINESE CARS IN THE US
Your next new car might be "made in China." The Chinese are rushing to enter the US car market. One company, Visionary Vehicles, plans to sell 1 million Chinese-built cars a year in the US (GM sold 4.52 million vehicles in the US last year. Toyota sold 2.26 million vehicles.). They expect that their midlevel vehicles will be about 30% cheaper than those built by the existing manufacturers in the market.
