PODCASTING FROM THE LECTURE HALL
Overslept again? No sweat. Just download the prof's lecture and watch it on your iPod. It's not as interactive as being there in person but it's better than relying on some classmate's incomplete notes. Besides, with the podcast you can go back and review a lecture before the final.
Dreaming? It's now reality in some universities. Here is a story about how it works at the University of Cincinnati.

This is good stuff. In fact, I'm about to start a course offered through USC that I'll attend via Internet video stream. And all the video will be archived along with audio only podcasts until the end of the semester.
Now, if I could just get a cheap e-textbook on a shiny new e-reader...
