Apparently Google has caught its collective breath and after being swamped Thursday, when they launched Google Page Creator, it is up again and generating new accounts. I fiddled with it briefly this morning. There are lots of template choices and it is the smoothest online editor I've used. However, there are a few quirks and limitations (e.g. I had to minimize the font size on the browser in order to access all the features in the bottom left -- needs scroll bar) -- but once it emerges from beta in 2021 I'm sure they'll have those worked out. :-)
