Random:

+ Last evening Cheryl and I took our niece and nephew, Christy and Josh Boydston, both students at North Park, to dinner at Lou Malnati's -- as good as any deep dish pizza I've ever had.

+ This morning Cheryl and I went to the original McDonald's restaurant in Des Plaines, Illinois so that she could get some of that new Premium Roast Coffee -- which she says is quite good. I'll take her word for it since it didn't have any chocolate in it.

+ We had a good interview with the Covenant World Mission Board regarding the Guam project. It looks like we're moving forward -- but we still need the approval of the Executive Board -- which meets tomorrow.

+ Heard that my niece Britta Boydston has landed a summer counselor gig at Frontier Ranch. Very cool!

+ Heard that Betsy has been accepted into the honors program at UCLA. (Parental bragging rights in force) So two of the eight schools she has applied to have checked in. The other acceptance is UC Irvine.

+ When we arrived home in Turlock this evening we found that the All New Square Foot Gardening book had arrived in the mail -- a birthday present from my brother. Thanks Greg -- it's just what I wanted (I chose it myself!)
