TURLOCK'S NEWEST CHURCH
George Shabaz and Alfred Younan have started a new congregation that they are, at least at this point, calling the Assyrian Church on Geer. The new church meets at 4 p.m. Sundays at the Freewill Baptist Church, 2217 Geer Road. George tells me that they've been meeting for four weeks and have about 30 people worshipping together.
