"One Laptop Per Child"
Linux is too fat and the hand crank will probably be replaced by a foot pedal. That's the latest in the movement to provide $100 laptops for children. One Laptop Per Child is a non-profit association which hopes to distribute 5 million to 10 million laptops to children in India, China, Brazil, Argentina, Thailand, Egypt, and Nigeria in the first quarter of 2007.
