Reconquista

The massive Hispanic immigration-reform protest is fueling a relatively small but radical movement called "La reconquista." These are the people pointing out that the Southwest US was originally a part of Mexico and that they (either the government of Mexico or Mexican people) have some historical claims on the territory. This isn't a new movement but leaders of the more centrist immigration-reform campaign are surprised that it has recently picked up some steam.
