...Les Quebecers say that they have formed "a nation within a united Canada" and the Canadian Parliament has agreed to it -- whatever it means....Tropical Storm Durian, which began as a depression about 300 miles south of Guam, is now full-force Typhoon Durian. The storm is currently just east of the Philippines and Filipinos in low areas are being urged to seek higher ground.

If I were you, Bill, I'd just go ahead and renew this time around. At the very least the Canadian passport will be a collector's item -- probably worth a lot on eBay.
