The new coffee maker

Even though I'm not a coffee drinker I love Cheryl's new coffee maker. It doesn't send out a screeching tonal blast when the coffee is done or it is turning itself off. I suppose the designers of our old coffee maker thought that they were doing us a favor with the extra signal (which couldn't be turned off) but it just got to be too annoying to live with. Someone in R&D thought that they were doing consumers a favor -- but the fact is that less is often better.
