My own sense is that we shouldn't just remember him as the worship renewal guy or as an academic theologian. Bob Webber was primarily a missiologist.

~ Chris Erdman, pastor of University Presbyterian Church in Fresno, has a book on preaching coming out in September. Chris is a very engaging preacher. I heard him when he was the speaker at Dan's graduation from Mennonite Brethren Biblical Seminary a couple of years ago.

~ Dr Francis Beckwith, the president of the Evangelical Theological Society and a professor at Baylor University, has become a Roman Catholic -- again. Evangelical theologians are a bit dazed and baffled by it all. It was a complicated decision, says Beckwith. See his post on the Right Reason blog.
