~ Hotels are moving away from free wifi. This isn't the direction things are supposed to be moving.
~ We're coming up on the 40th anniversary of the summer of love. I remember it well. I had just finished the fifth grade. We drove into "the City" to see all the hippies. I think that field trip lasted all of 45 minutes before my parents said phooey on this traffic jam and we turned around and headed back to San Jose.
~ Job Opening: Make $159,000 for your first year as a Border Patrol trainer in Iraq.
~ Things turned out just fine this morning. Thanks for praying.

i get hammered for hotel wi-fi everytime i travel for business. my guess has been the market will bear it. my company will reimburse it, so they'll keep charging it.
my personal travel at more tourist type hotels (Holiday Inn Express, Hampton Inn, Sleep Inn, etc) has always been free.
that combo works for me for now, but i'd rather have the all free :-(
that reminds me: Business Week had an article this week about how generally poor the free municipal Wi-Fi is so far. that shouldn't be any surprise
