• Lots of wildlife here at Green Lakes -- Tonight I saw a large doe grazing 25 feet from me -- unconcerned about my presence. And we saw fireflies (Midwesterners are rolling their eyes at my delight). And then there are the giant mosquitoes. How is it that I rarely experience a bite at home in the tropics but when I get to Wisconsin they're all over me?
