• Facebook is setting up its international HQ in Ireland. Hopefully this means that we can get away from the all blue Facebook formatting -- a little green and orange would be a fine addition. ~ link

• Liberty University has started work on a $1.7 million year-round ski facility which will cover almost an acre with the synthetic faux snow called Snowflex.

• Guam has arrived! We now have our own Godiva boutique featuring over-priced pre-packaged chocolates, Chocolixir drinks, AND... a chocolate dipping station. I hope Sees is also seeing the potential. ~ link

• Home Depot may have trouble selling furnace filters on Guam but they should look at the potential market on Mars, where things have turned cold and it's been snowing. ~ link

• It was getting to be time to change out my Netgear router at home so I replaced it with a Netgear "Super G" router that increases the wireless bandwidth. It cost a few dollars more than the low-end G router I had been using but it's got speed!

• At first glance the window sticker on the car in the Kmart parking lot looked like a typical manifestation of the QUIKSILVER brand. But at second glance I saw that it said

Guam's S***est Surf -- Agana Boat Basin
There are not too many places to surf on Guam because of the reef which surrounds most of the island. Unfortunately, one of Guam's water treatment plants consistently and illegally releases sewage into the ocean near the best spot for surfing -- creating QUIKSEWER.
