Subtitled movies are now "in" -- apparently the upside of text-messaging and the scrolling ticker on CNN. I know that our students at PIBC seem to prefer to watch movies with subtitles -- but that has to do with language proficiency. It's easier to understand the English if you can both see and hear. ~ link
