• Singapore is getting ready to "redevelop" it's last rural hamlet. I didn't know they had anything rural left in Singapore, which is an incredible city. ~ link

• Yesterday's power outage on Guam was caused by a transformer problem. Cheryl was thinking that we did not lose power at all in December. Improvement. And yesterday morning's issue was brief (at least in Mangilao -- longer elsewhere). However, we did have a partial power drop last night. I could hear the freezer motor slow (not everyone gets to have a freezer in their office!) -- and then the modem lost contact with the internet. Even when it's on, Guam's power is still pretty dirty. ~ link
