I just tell people that I'm going to Las Vegas for a meeting. The real reason I'm here is to check on the progress of the Hoover Dam Bypass Bridge which now spans over the Colorado River. As you can see from the picture the bottom arch is completely connected -- which was not the case when we drove through here in July.

Hoover Dam Bypass Bridge
