HAPPY BIRTHDAY PRESIDENT LINCOLN
Today is President Abraham Lincoln's birthday. It used to be a national holiday but he fell from our national graces when it became apparent that the economy needed one less holiday -- especially one that fell midweek too much of the time. So we negotiated a merger with President Washington and ended up with a generic Presidents' Day, which will be "celebrated" on Monday, February 21st. Sigh. We're so practical. I wonder what copper colored M&Ms would look like.
