They've been working on the Holiday Inn Express for the past millennium. It's been a construction fiasco with major contractor problems. If it were not in such a prominent and visible spot in Turlock it probably wouldn't be the town joke. However, the mystery tarps which have draped the building for months are coming down and it looks like they're actually going to open in April. It should be a nice addition to the community.
