+ I've been posting some links for people who might be interested in doing some of their college work in a distance or alternative mode. Excelsior College offers college credit through examination -- great option for self-taught people who need to verify/validate what they know. Fully accredited and transferable. Also, especially for Californians, Barstow Community College has an incredible list of online classes. Caution: you may find that these classes are more demanding than some of what you'll find in the traditional mode.
