People in the Turlock area will start to see Walk This Way yard signs and banners in the next few days. WTW is an eight week common emphasis that many of the churches in town have adopted to demonstrate their unity.
There are some common weekly themes that the pastors think will be helpful for the entire community to focus on. However, this isn't a canned program of any sort. Different pastors will preach on different texts -- although some have already spent time in common sermon preparation. There is also a shared devotional book written by people from different congregations. They will be available in churches starting tomorrow.
Here are the themes for the eight weeks:
October 2 -- Walk in Unity
October 9 -- Walk in Humility
October 16 -- Walk His Way
October 23 -- Walk in Grace
October 30 -- Walk in Compassion
November 6 -- Walk in Love
November 13 -- Walk in Integrity
November 20 -- Walk in Thankfulness
On Saturday morning, November 12th, the churches will be joining together for a community clean-up project. And on Sunday evening, November 20th, there will be a community Thanksgiving service.

Hmmm, I'm guessing most people will think Aerosmith when they see the signs. Is that intentional? ;-)
I'm not sure who did the design work or what their thinking was.
I like it Brad. Is it home-grown there in Turlock or was it a franchised series and logos?
