ALITO HEARINGS
How is it that the senators grilling the justice don't realize that their grandstanding, pontificating, and obnoxious questioning makes them look like insensitive idiots. Not that they shouldn't be asking hard questions -- not at all -- but their insinuating and condescending comments make them look less than human. Even if Justice Alito were a total jerk (he is not) he would look sweet compared to the people grilling him. Don't the senators (or their PR people) realize that C-Span is broadcasting the whole thing and that they look really ugly on TV?

I truly think that the fact that we have cameras everywhere has desensitized those in front of them to any sense of shame.
