~ The Koreans seem bullish on Guam these days. The latest is that a Korean developer is planning a bayside $250 million condo/luxury/resort. The starting price for a condo unit is $500,000. That's a lot of bull.

~ The other day I mentioned that Concordia Seminary has an iTunesU presence -- making audio and video lectures and class presentations available for free download. I see that Fuller Seminary has a similar presence. Fuller's offerings are not yet as extensive as Concordia's but what is there looks good. There are other schools, too.

~ Steven Evans asked about the syllabus and reading list for my world religions class. Here it is in .pdf format. I should point out that the students quickly figured out that the grading percentages don't add up to 100%. I should also point out that there is a reason that no one has asked me to teach math.

~ There is lots of construction activity on campus these days -- stories and pictures. Cargo container fans should find this of some interest.

~ Five US television stations are now broadwebcasting on YouTube -- and there is still nothing on.

~ I am pleased to announce that I have become the celebrity spokesman for the endangered Atlantic menhaden. Of course, not everyone thinks that there is a problem.

~ We complained when we couldn't break-in to mainstream retail with Christian books. Now we're complaining because they're selling too many of them.

~ "SBC President Blames Jimmy Carter for Southern Baptists' Negative Image" How can that be? Jimmy Carter wasn't even born until 1924.

~ The myth of multi-taking (via) -- "no one really does more than one thing at a time anyway..." Sounds over-simplistic to me -- I multi-task continually. Right now I'm typing, breathing, and reading -- all at the same time. And I'm doing them all fairly well together. There are some tasks that don't go well together, though. It's tough to drink hot chocolate while typing.

~ Nanobook -- now just drop the price a bit -- by $150-200 -- and we may have a deal. I can wait until then, though.

~ "45-minute operation to restore sight to millions" But at what price?
