~ One more reason to choose the online course option if you live in Nevada.

~ Peter Vaas, our Dutch maintenance guy at PIBC decided that he wasn't getting enough info from the school he applied to early in the spring. So he made a decision a couple of days ago to apply to Tyndale Seminary in the Netherlands. He faxed in his application on Tuesday and today he received word that he has been accepted. I think that this will be an all around better fit.

~ Microsoft, which currently does not sell computers, is going to start selling low-cost machines in India. Sounds like they could become collector's items.

~ A Lutheran pastor in Germany has been sentenced to a year in jail for comparing abortion to the Nazi Holocaust. Well, at least he knows that people aren't sleeping through his sermons.

UPDATE: Taking my cue from Sean (see comment#3) I went back to the original source of this information and found the following new statement on the news site I visited before -- "ARTICLE RETRACTED... Please note that recently received information confirms portions of this report in error. While Pastor Lerle was previously convicted and jailed for anti-abortion activities his current imprisonment stems only from charges related to holocaust denial."
