When we arrived on Guam 2+ years ago we ended up with HafaTel as a mobile phone provider. The service was lame at best.
Last year NTT DoCoMo, which is a huge communication conglomerate in Japan, bought HafaTel and GuamCell. The two companies were merged and our service instantly improved as they made us GuamCell customers.Now GuamCell is being renamed DoCoMo Pacific. They've announced some new high speed Internet options, too.
So far we've benefited each time these guys have changed names.
