• We can now get AmericanLife TV on Guam -- whatever that is -- something about television for boomers. Just what we need... whatever. ~ link
• Apparently the Japanese government is now ready to sign off on the deal to move US Marines from Okinawa to Guam -- a deal which will ultimately increase Guam's population by 25%. The Japanese are kicking in about $6B for the project. ~ link
• Kent (our #2 son who has been living with us and teaching English as a volunteer at PIBC) received email today from the South Korean government offering him a contract to teach English in their after school program in one of the rural areas. The actual contract will be coming in the mail. If he accepts he will start in February.

• After 50 years the now homebound Billy Graham has moved his membership from First Baptist Church in Dallas. The First Baptist Church of Spartanburg, South Carolina voted Sunday to receive him as a member. That wasn't on my list of predictions for 2008. ~ link
